Jio slashes JioFi hotspot device price from Rs 1,999 to Rs 999

MUMBAI, INDIA: Reliance Retail announced a festive offer for JioFi today. The personal voice and data hotspot device will be available at a limited period special price of Rs 999 between September 20-30.

The JioFi device was launched in September 2016 at a price of Rs 2,899. But it got a price cut soon and has been selling at 1,999 since then.

JioFi device is available at all Reliance Digital stores, Jio outlets, Jio Partner retailers as well as online at www.jio.com. The offer is valid only on JioFi M2S model only, which can connect up to 32 devices.

The device comes with a Reliance Jio SIM and supports LTE bands 2300/1800/850MHz and IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4G for WLAN.

JioFi users can enjoy the entire bouquet of Jio services including unlimited 4G Data, HD Voice calls and Video calls, SMS as well as access a host of Jio Apps such as Jio Cinema, Jio TV, etc. 2G/3G device users will also be able to get Jio’s unlimited voice and data benefits on their existing device by installing Jio4GVoice app on their phones.

The device claims to offer speed of up to 150Mbps and upload speed of 50Mbps. The 2,300mAh battery offers 5 to 6 hours of usage.
