Jharkhand bags National eGovernance award

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Union Government's Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) will felicitate the state of Jharkhand with an eGovernance award.

This award will be given at Jaipur on February 11 and 12 for the "Exemplary re-use of ICT based solutions" for the Pragya Kendra cum panchayat bank project for Electronic Benefit Transfers to beneficiaries.

The project was implemented by A K Satyajeet (OSD JAPIT), Rajesh Prasad (Manager CSC SPV), Damodar Reddy (Sr Manager UTL) and Shashi Bharat (Manager AID). The award will be received by NN Sinha, Principal Secretary, IT.
