JEE Main 2021 March Exam Schedule Revised by One day; Check exam-day guidelines

The National Testing Agency has revised the schedule of the JEE Main 2021 March exam. It will be held from March 16, instead of March 15.

The National Testing Agency has revised the schedule of the JEE Main 2021 March exam. According to the new guidelines, the JEE Main exam for March 2021 session will be held from March 16, instead of March 15. The NTA stated that initially, they had decided on eight shifts, while now, they only need 6 shifts. Now, NTA will conduct the JEE Main exam from March 16-18, at different centres located in 331 cities across the country.

NTA had conducted the JEE Main 2021 Session 1 from February 23 to 26. This year, the engineering entrance exam will be held in three more shifts -- March, April and May. The second part will now take place between March 16 and March 18, then the third part which between April 27 and April 30. The last part of the exam will take place between May 24 to May 28. Students can appear in all the sessions. However, the tests for Paper 2 i.e. BArch and BPlanning courses will happen only twice, in February and May.

How to download the JEE Main 2021 Admit Card for March Session?

Visit the official website. On the homepage, you will be able to see an option of “Download JEE (Main) 2021 March Session 2 Admit Card Paper I. When you click that option, it will take you to a new page asking for your credentials such as Application no. DOB and security pin. Fill in your credentials and click submit. The JEE Main Admit Card will appear on your screen.

Exam Day Guideline for Students

Along with the admit card, on exam day, students need to carry a valid ID proof, and a photograph. The photo must be the same as the one in the application form. Further, students also need to carry a self-declaration undertaking which asks the student to disclose their health status and recent travel history. Candidates must also wear a mask and carry their own sanitiser (if they wish).

In the self undertaking form, candidates must enter all the details on it beforehand, in legible handwriting. You will also need to paste a photo and thumb impression on it. However, you need to sign on the undertaking in front of the invigilator. NTA will, further, provide a 3-ply face mask at the exam centres to candidates.
