Jangoo Dalal quits Cisco

BANGALORE, INDIA: Jangoo Dalal, country manager of Cisco, has quit the company, sources said.

Naresh Wadhwa, vice president, Cisco Systems, India and SAARC, will hold additional responsibility of the country manager till a replacement for Dalal is made. The reason for Dalal quitting the company is not immediately known.

Sources have also found R Devarajan on the company’s exit list. Devarajan, Cisco India’s R&D India, is on his way out. Pramod Menon, vice president, channels Cisco (India & SAARC) is also likely to quit, claimed sources.

Before taking up the charge of country manager last year-end, Dalal was based in Singapore and was responsible for developing Cisco's Channel Operations and Strategy function, across the Asia Pacific region.

Dalal is an industry veteran with more than 18 years experience in the technology industry. Before joining Cisco in 1997, he was marketing manager at Wipro-British Telecom.
