NEW DELHI: Jabil, an electronic product solutions company, officially launched construction of a new facility in Chennai. Total investment for the project is estimated at over $70 million.

“The new Jabil facility will include a production area with equipment running the latest manufacturing processes; a dedicated display for demonstrating design and product development capabilities in Asia and an office complex to serve administrative needs,” said Bill Muir, Regional President, Jabil Asia.

The company feels that the new facility will play a significant role in it’s expansion plan in India as it will allow the company to undertake large-scale production.
