IVY to up its team by 1250

HYDERABAD: The wholly owned subsidiary and BPO operation center of Gibraltar-based iGlobalMedia Group, IVY Comptech Pvt Ltd, is planning to increase the headcount in its Hyderabad center to 2,000 by the end of 2005. Started in 2001, the company presently has a workforce of 750.



Elaborating on the expansion plans, iGlobalMedia, CEO, Richard Segal said, "The present headcount is likely to grow to around 1,000 by December 2004 and by the end of 2005, we would be increasing it to 2,000." And to accommodate the workforce, the company has also decided to invest $2.5 million for building a common campus in Hyderabad.



Christened CyberSpezi, the new facility would be ready by the first half of 2005. The company has already selected 100,000 sq ft of land for the new facility.



"The BPO operations here in Hyderabad focus on three core areas - customer service, transaction processing and technical support," said IVY Comptech, CEO, Prasad Kondru.



IVY Comptech with a turnover of Rs 53 crore as on March 2004, has already invested $ eight million in the Indian operations.
