ITTA Puducherry elects new team

PUDUCHERRY, INDIA: Information Technology Traders Association (ITTA) of Puducherry, has got a new executive team for the year 2010-11. The recently held election, saw participation of more than 40 members.

M Sridhar, Managing Partner, Sukkra Traders, was unanimously elected the President, and Aravindhan R, Proprietor of Shamrock Systems was elected the VP. The other elected office bearers include Dinakaran of New Version, as the Secretary, M Saravanan of Trishal Energy Systems as the Jt Secretary, while Jayaraman of Richy Computer is the newly-elected Treasurer.

While sharing his plans, the newly-elected President of ITTA, Sridhar said, “Currently 45 members are in the association and we will work towards strengthening the team. We look forward to address all the pressing issues and help partners in the area to become more competent and successful.” He also claimed that the association would ensure that doing business is a pleasure for the channels in Puducherry.

Talking about other areas, where the association would need to unite, Aravindhan said, “An important thing on our agenda is the relationship of the local dealers with the distributors and the vendors. If this improves then naturally our business will also improve.” He also said that the new executive committee meet will be held on June 12 and the agenda for the next year will be decided in the meet. The IT traders association also has plans to conduct regular meetings with its members on the second Saturday of every month.
