ITIL profit up 161 per cent

BANGALORE: Information Technologies (India) Ltd. (ITIL) has said its sales for the quarter ending November 1999 stood at Rs 54 crore, registering an increase of over 155 per cent over last year. 

Net profit grew by 161 per cent at Rs 16.5 crore for the period over the corresponding period last year, ITIL said in a release here. ITIL, focussed in mobile and hand-held software, e-commerce and Internet technologies and computer training, also announced an employee stock option scheme, covering over 500 employees.

The company claims to be working on new technologies in the mobile area, making products on different operating systems to offer complete mobile solutions. In e-commerce and Internet technologies, the company is concentrating on developing portals and offering products and services for the B2B and B2C segments.
