IT contract for US Army Materiel Command HQ

ARLINGTON, US: By Light Professional IT Services, Inc (By Light), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a subcontract from Harris IT Services Corporation team under its recent contract from the National Capital Region Contracting Center to provide IT infrastructure for the newly relocated U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Headquarters building at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

Under this subcontract, By Light will support the Harris team with the engineer, furnish, install, and test of the Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence IT Infrastructure (C4I/IT), which includes wireless solutions, telecommunications, and radio frequency identification (RFID) asset management and tagging. The contract comprises one base year and two one-year option periods, in which the company would provide operations and maintenance support, as well as help desk capabilities.
