Israel's Nova gets $5.5 mn in orders

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL: Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd a provider of leading edge stand-alone metrology and the market leader of integrated metrology solutions to the semiconductor process control market, today announced that it has received $5.5 million of stand-alone optical CD bookings from three leading foundries.

The orders which were received in recent weeks were for Nova's existing stand-alone platform, the NovaScan 3090Next, as well as for Nova's new stand-alone platform the Nova T500, combined with NovaMARS software, said a statement from Nova.

"This stream of orders is a direct result of our successful penetration into new customers as well as the proliferation of our technology into additional fab areas at existing customer sites,” said Gabi Seligsohn, president and CEO at Nova.

“These orders will enable us to present a strong finish to a remarkable year in which we have demonstrated our ability to increase market share in each of the segments we serve, while significantly improving our cost structure,” he added.
