In an effort to address its painpoints, Research In Motion (RIM) were quick to induct BlackBerry Curve 9320 instead, but for a higher price.

With no apparent upgrade from the existing BlackBerry Curve 8520, the new Curve 9220 lacks 3G accessibility and has bleak camera capability.

The consumer review and complaint forums such as consumercourt.in and gsmarena.com are abuzz with shabby BlackBerry Curve 9220 experiences.

From flimsy battery cover to disappointing camera, the software issues have also surfaced within a few weeks of its imposing launch.

RIM India, in response to CIOL query, declined of any such complaint. “We haven't received any feedback on BlackBerry Curve 9220,” the company said.

The official didn’t reveal the units sold so far, but said that the remaining information is available in the press release.

Touted as youth-driven, the device blues have added yet another dimension to the woes of BlackBerry maker RIM in the highly competitive Indian marketplace.
