BANGALORE, INDIA: If someone had told you at the end of last season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) would languish at number seven out of nine teams mid way into IPL 6, you would have laughed it off.

But reality is stranger than fiction. And IPL straddles both. Despite decent performances, KKR has won only two out of six games so far, and in its last game against Chennai Super Kings, it lost the game from a winning position by four wickets.

On Wednesday, KKR is locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI), arguably the strongest team, which lost against Delhi Daredevils (DD) by 9 wickets, unable to survive the onslaught of Virender Sehwag and Mahela Jayawardene. Incidentally, it is the first and last victory of DD in as much as eight outings.

So, it is going to be battle royale when KKR takes on MI at the Eden Gardens at 8 pm tonight. While not many would disagree that there is nothing like catching the action live from the famed stadium, there might be others who can't physically make it to the venues. But they can take heart from the fact that there are plentiful other avenues for them to take in the cricket extravaganza from the comfort of their homes, offices or even when they are traveling.

Likewise, DigiVive's live TV streaming app nexGTv, too, has bagged the official mobile streaming rights for IPL 2013. The nexGtv apps are available for free for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Symbian, but users, however, are required to subscribe in order to watch all the 76 matches of IPL 6 live on their mobiles. Moreover, it will offer highlights and re-runs on its video-on-demand section.

Well, the re-run will be more than handy to get a hang of the 'Gaylestorm' that blew away Bangalore on Tuesday. If you want to watch that massacre of an innings from Christopher Henry Gayle, you may also check it out on ;utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MostPopularVideosFromYoutube---English+%28Most+Popular+Videos+From+Youtube++---+English%29" target="_blank">YouTube.

Not to remind any, but it is the 40th birthday of Indian batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar, as well.
