The report indicates that one of the key drivers of enterprise wireless LAN market growth will come from users who have devices with embedded

wireless LAN capabilities.

Ben Kwan, Analyst of Wireless LAN research at Dell’Oro Group, said: “The growing popularity of embedded Wi-Fi devices such as the iPhone and ultra-portable PCs are expected to increase end-user demand for corporate IT departments to expand wireless LAN coverage. We believe the penetration rate of wireless LAN will double by 2012.”

Dell Oro Group also forecasts that revenues from Service Provider Wireless LAN equipment will almost triple between 2007 and 2012.
