BANGALORE, INDIA: IoT India Congress, a first of its kind platform in India for the IoT enthusiasts, has announced the call for nominations for its inaugural IoT Start-up Awards 2016. The award aims to reward and celebrate breakthrough innovations in IoT by start-ups.
IoT India Congress 2016, an event co-organized by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and MCI, is a three-day mega event on the Internet of Things, which will be held from September 6-8, 2016 in Bengaluru.
The event will be a platform to share and exchange the views on the current scenario of IoT in India. This event aims to act as a catalyst to achieve the roadmap set by IoT India panel and will primarily focus on creating momentum towards increasing business investment in IoT, growth in technology, R&D and skill building.
Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, the Chairman of the IoT India Congress organizing committee said, "The IoT Start-Up Awards will hopefully be a launch pad for radical innovations that will lead India’s race to be an economic superpower.”
Nominations are open for young companies - less than 5 years of being in business - registered in India that have been exceptional proponents of Internet of Things and have contributed towards its adoption in India.
The eligible IoT Start-Ups can submit their details in the form provided on the website. Submissions close on August 25, 2016.
