iOmega launches NAS servers in India

MUMBAI: In a move to tap the huge potential of the storage segment in India, iOmega has launched its range of NAS servers in India. The range includes iOmega NAS A300U and the iOmega NAS P400u, P405u, P410u and P415u as well as the iOmega P400m, P405m, P410m and P415m.



Designed for the growing storage needs of small and medium sized business and enterprise workgroups, the iOmega NAS range offers capacities up to 720 GB with hot swappable drives. Richard Lim, Regional Director, iOmega, Asia-Pacific said, " It is a cost-effective solution for organizing and protecting critical data while keeping an eye on the bottom line. The new iOmega NAS range delivers high-end features at dramatically lower costs."



The new range of NAS 'A' and 'P' series servers will be available in the country through iOmega authorized resellers. The retail price for the NAS A300u with 120 Gb is Rs 92,000, for the NAS P410u with 160 GB is Rs 155000 while for P405u with 320 GB is RS 2,20,000.

P410u with 480 GB is available at Rs 2,85,000. For the NAS P400m with 160GB is Rs 1,8,5000, P405m with 320 GB is Rs 265000 and P410m with 480 GB is Rs 3,40,000. NAS p415u with Gigabit ethernet 720GB is Rs 4,00,000 and P415m with SCSI is Rs 4,40,000.

In India, the authorized distributor for the products is Mumbai-based Neoteric Informatique Ltd. All the NAS servers will come with free technical support and a standard warranty of three years.
