Intrinsyc presents Soleus on Win Embedded CE 6.0

BERLIN, GERMANY: Intrinsyc Software International, Inc., previews the Soleus software platform running on CE 6.0 and the Marvell PXA270 applications processor at the Microsoft Mobile and Embedded DevCon 2007, Berlin. This is in support of OEMs migrating their handset designs to Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

"Current Soleus OEM customers now have a clear upgrade path to the newest version of Windows Embedded CE, while prospective OEM customers can add CE 6.0 to the list of advantages of using the Soleus software platform."

Soleus is a complete mobile-handset software platform built on Windows Embedded CE, with pre-certified telephony and a large application portfolio designed to address the consumer mobile-handset opportunity. With the Soleus platform running on Windows Embedded CE 6.0, Intrinsyc is ready to support device manufacturers as they develop next-generation handsets based on CE 6.0. A Release to Manufacturers version of Soleus for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 will be available by September 2007.
