HYDERABAD: Intoto, a leading provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms for networking and communications equipment manufacturers, today announced certification of its integrated VPN software solution under the ICSA Lab's latest IPSec 1.0D and 1.1D certification criteria. Intoto is one of only three top industry-leading vendors who have achieved this significant VPN testing milestone. The Indian Software team of Intoto in Hyderabad developed the Integrated VPN Software solution.

Intoto's VPN software is a fully integrated component in its industry-leading iGateway software platforms. The iGateway platforms combine security, convergence, connectivity, and management features into comprehensive software solutions for residential and enterprise applications. These software platforms are used extensively in many high-volume and top-tier networking products such as security appliances, broadband gateways, IADs/integrated communication platforms, routers and edge appliances.

"ICSA Labs works very closely with all the vendors to ensure they understand the new requirements of each test version," said George Japak, vice president at ICSA Labs. "Intoto has worked with us from the start and their excellent team has always been very helpful in making sure the process ran smoothly. We congratulate them as part of a handful of vendors to have met both sets of criteria."

"We are very pleased to continually succeed in each milestone of ICSA Labs certification," said S N Murthy, President and COO at Intoto Software. "Having our iGateway solutions among the first certified for both IPSec 1.0D and 1.1D underscores the technical excellence of Intoto's VPN technology. By staying abreast with ICSA Labs' testing criteria, we can provide our equipment customers quality products that meet stringent interoperability and security requirements."

The IPSec 1.0D and 1.1D certification is provided through testing managed by ICSA Labs. With rigorous testing, ICSA Labs independently verified Intoto's ability to support the new cryptographic algorithm and VPN feature requirements ratified in IPSec 1.0D and 1.1D criteria, according to Srinivasa Rao Addepalli, CTO and chief architect at Intoto. "This certification also ensures that Intoto's VPN software solution is completely interoperable with products from vendors that have been certified by ICSA Labs."
