Intoto to invest $15 m in India

HYDERABAD: Intoto, the Santa Clara headquartered integrated security, wireless and VoIP software solutions provider, has earmarked an investment of $15 million over the next five years at its Hyderabad and Chennai centers.





Intoto has also unveiled its new corporate identity called Software Original Design Manufacturer (ODM). According to the company, its new identity reflects the depth and breadth of Intoto's networking and communication software platform capabilities for networking and communications Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).





"Intoto will help the OEMs with its integrated, certified and interoperable solutions that will enable them to deliver innovative products," said Intoto CEO Sathyen Iyengar.





According to the company, the majority of investments would focus on developing new products and tools in the networking application software area. The company is also planning to increase its headcount from the present 175 professionals to 200 by the end of 2004 and to 250 by next year. Currently, the Hyderabad center has 140 people, which would be increased to 160 by 2005.





The company had opened up a development center in August in Chennai with a small team of six professionals that would now be expanded to 20 by the end of this year.
