Intex launches new range of notebooks

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Intex Technologies (India) Ltd has unveiled its four new notebooks - Challenger 012 DW, Performer 032 DW, Achiever 026 DW and Achiever 026 CW.

This launch aims to add more feature-rich, compact and technologically advanced models in Intex's already existing notebook portfolio, Intex said in a statement.

Challenger 012 DW is Wi-Fi enabled notebook, designed to cater to the needs of the working professionals, boasting irresistible sleekness and style. It is equipped with Intel's Core Duo processor 1.86 GHZ, DVD dual drive, 667 FSB and 2 MB L2 cache, 1 GB DDR-2 memory, 100 GB hard drive, inbuilt web camera, embedded 4 in 1 card reader.

Other features include 12.1'' wide LCD screen, 1x External CRT monitor output, Bluetooth for fast data transfer and longer battery life. It is priced at Rs 39,900.

Performer 032 DW designed for travelers and senior managers is loaded with Intel's Centrino Core Duo processor, Wi-Fi enabled with Intel wireless LAN. It comes with the 14.1" wide screen, 100 GB hard disk, DVD Dual Drive and card reader. The product is also embedded with features like Bluetooth, 1.3 MP camera, 512 MB memory card. It is available at a street price of Rs 36,900.

Achiever 026 DW and 026 CW is an exclusive range designed for the students, SOHO and SME segment. Both the models come with the Celeron model and Intel's 1.86 GHz processor. With the capability of Wi-Fi and express card, Achiever 026DW and 026CW, possesses the 512 MB memory space and a hard drive of 100 GB and 60 GB respectively, which helps the students to store large amount of valuable information on their systems. Achiever 026DW and 026CW is priced at Rs 26,900 and Rs 24,900 respectively.
