Intex IN 2020

I wonder why Intex named their latest phone IN 2020. I can only presume that it's named after the winning streak of team India in 20--20 cricket.

It's a basic entry-level phone with looks that stand out because of the use of colors. It is a little on the bulkier side, but largely due to the massive1500 mAh Li-ion battery; a size you very rarely see even in big, touchscreen PDAs. Even with the battery, the weight is an acceptable 92 gm.

It has a basic CSTN color screen, like every other basic color phone these days. But finding a music player in the phone was something really unexpected as the internal memory is just 500 KB, with no card slot.

Rather than a music player, I would have preferred FM at least. The navigation keys are also a bit hard to use and do not give a sturdy feel.

But if you need to go several days without charging your phone, you'd be hard pressed to find an alternative. Great if you have to endure long powercuts or want to travel with it.
