Shapar Veraval Industrial Association is a large Association near Rajkot representing all various industries under its belt like Foundry, Forging, Plastic, Cement, Cotton, Mini Steel Plants and so on. This large Association has over 1000 voluntary members.

The Association addresses critical issues that impact these industries like government liaison, labor issues, infrastructure, electricity, road, water and so on. As a President, Mr. Tilala has been providing support and taking some great initiatives towards the development of the region. He has been running as the uncontested President for four years.

He has played a significant role with his members in representing the industry issues to the government. There is very good teamwork and co-ordination between the members. And the members meet regularly to ensure that the objectives are taken up on priority and addressed to suit the requirements of the organizations. There are also seminars, conferences and workshops conducted regularly to aid the members with the required information and awareness for their development.

He believes that there is a tremendous amount of work to be done in the area and one needs to dedicate lot of energy, time and passion for the same. He says that its important to give back to the society, to help and support people especially if guidance and leadership can result in their growth and development.
