Intelligroup will implement the latest version of mySAP ERP 2005 to update and enhance GPIC's current IT infrastructure.

"For the past 20 years, GPIC's core business functions have been supported by mainframe based applications. Faced with the complexities of a fast growing business, GPIC decided to deploy an efficient and effective system to provide timely and accurate data to support the decision making process, optimize business processes and increase operational efficiency. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the existing environment Intelligroup will implement mySAP ERP 2005 for GPIC," said Ranjit Prithviraj, chief operating officer of Intelligroup Asia.

The mySAP ERP 2005 implementation will be completed over an eight month period of time and include modules for financial accounting, controlling, materials management, quality management, production planning, plant maintenance, sales and distribution, project systems, environment, health and safety and HR. Upon completion of the project Intelligroup will provide post production support for three months, an Intelligroup statement said.

The Middle East is a focus market for Intelligroup where apart from the newly acquired GPIC, it is working for leading companies and government institutions in the Middle East.
