Intellect Data Systems launches Fortune Lite

BANGALORE: Intellect Data Systems (IDS) of Bangalore has launched a hotel

management software, Fortune Lite that offers the benefits of automation to

small/medium sized hotels, motels, lodges, service apartments, guest houses and

cruise liners. It is a part of its Fortune suite of software, which includes

Fortune CREScent, Fortune NT and Fortune VI.32.

The modules available under Fortune Lite covers all the essential day-to-day

activities of small and medium sized hotels. These include a Front Office

System, Point of Sale System and a Telephone Management System. The software

also provides quick access to critical information such as expected arrivals,

room status, hotel position, guest information, exchange rates etc.

IDS managing director D Jabastian said, "With over 500 man years of

research and development behind it, IDS has been in the business of designing,

developing and marketing the Fortune series of software products for the

hospitality industry."

Fortune, currently used by over 350 hotels in 18 countries, was rated among

the top five hotel management systems globally by the Hotels magazine.

Fortune Lite is priced at Rs 45,000 in India and US $5,000 abroad.
