Intel selects Synopsys as its primary EDA supplier

CALIFORNIA, US: Synopsys, Inc, player in semiconductor design software space, today announced that it was selected as Intel Corporation's primary EDAsupplier.

The two companies signed a multi-year, expanded commercial and technologyagreement under which they will closely collaborate on advanced designflowsthat combine Synopsys' breadth of EDA solutions with Intel's technologystrengths and design expertise. The agreement expands a long-termrelationship between the two companies.
