BANGALORE, INDIA: Chip major Intel introduced a new desktop processor with six core to its roster of high-end processors used to crunch through the most demanding games and multimedia applications.
Made on Intel's latest 32-nanometer manufacturing process, the chip is named Core i7-970. It comes with 12MB L3 Cache, is clocked at 3.2GHz and will carry a suggested retail price of $885. This follows the six-core i7 980X released earlier this year, which is priced at $999.
