Intel announces teacher training camp

Intel announced the

commencement of a Teacher Training Camp under the aegis of 'Project Vidya',

its education initiative in India. This camp will be held in Delhi at the

Intel Cyberskool in the National Science Center from 6th September till

18th September 1999.

The training will be imparted by Educomp Datamatics

Pvt Ltd, a computer education company specializing in training students

and teachers in the usage of information technology in education.

The camp will be an extensive one month long

program, consisting of 4 workshops for beginners and 2 advanced workshop.

The workshop for beginners will be for a period of 5 days each and the

advanced workshop will be for a period of 10 days each. Around 200

teachers have already signed up for the camp.
