Integreon acquires EDS business from Bowne & Co.

MUMBAI: Integreon, a leader in knowledge, content and document outsourcing services, announced the acquisition of the electronic discovery services business from Bowne for undisclosed terms. Bowne will retain all other components of its litigation solutions business, including DecisionQuest, Case Soft, and JFS Litigator's Notebook.

With this acquisition, Integreon broadens its ability to support lawyers' electronic data and document management discovery demands. Integreon also announced the opening of a new solutions center in Midtown Manhattan as part of its continued expansion of onshore services.

With this acquisition, Integreon positions itself to expand its BPO business among more than 20 blue-chip law firm and corporate legal customers. Integreon currently provides offshore document production and knowledge services to some of the most prestigious global law firms.

Integreon will provide discovery project consulting and management and data analysis services locally in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Document imaging and printing and electronic discovery functions, such as native file conversion, document hosting and online redaction review, will be delivered from the company's New York solution center. Coding and document review will be provided by Integreon's wholly owned, operations in Mumbai.

“Our legal BPO services have enjoyed great success serving the large, rapidly growing legal services market. For instance, the Electronic Document Discovery segment alone is estimated at almost $1.5 billion today, with 30% per year growth projected over the next five years,” said Liam Brown, Integreon president and CEO.
