As part of the IT organization at Integra Telecom, the Enterprise Project Management Office will use Seapine’s TestTrack RM for requirements management to automate its business and technical analysis documentation and approval processes, says a press release. It will use TestTrack Pro to streamline the management of software development defects and improve the overall change management process. In addition, the project management office has purchased additional TestTrack TCM licenses to expand its test case management capabilities throughout the organization.

Aurora David, director of Information Technology for Integra Telecom, sees the addition of Seapine’s application lifecycle management tools as a tremendous asset to Integra Telecom’s IT organization. “We plan to use Seapine’s TestTrack products as a stepping stone to bring our organization to a higher IT maturity level. The addition of these integrated solutions also ensures that we deliver quality applications to corporate stakeholders on time, on budget, and to specification.”

Integra Telecom’s plan for TestTrack goes beyond its corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The project management office intends to use TestTrack’s workflow and collaboration capabilities to connect Integra Telecom IT business users from various states so they can participate in the approval process and execution of internal programs. Integra Telecom also plans to use TestTrack’s electronic signature and audit trail logging capabilities to implement a more rigorous approval and sign-off process, strengthening the organization’s yearly auditing practice
