Instagram brings on board Twitter's ex-VP of revenue product

Instagram has hired Ameet Ranadive, Twitter’s former VP of revenue product to work as the director of product overseeing the Wellbeing team, “which helps promote positive behavior on Instagram and protects the community from bad behavior and content,” Ranadive posted on Twitter.

Ranadive, in his new role will help in building products that foster better behavior within the Instagram community, something that's need of the hour on social media.

Ranadive joined Twitter in the first quarter of 2012 and first announced his plans to leave Twitter back in May.
