Inspan launches offline UPS

BANGALORE, INDIA: Inspan Infotech, a provider in IT distribution for motherboards, cabinets and PC components in India, today announced that it has launched latest Power Solutions from Numeric for SMB and SOHO segments.

The Numeric 600VA EX Line Interactive UPS is the offline UPS that caters to the demands of the single user and distributed networks protection.

This UPS is from the Numeric Digital Series UPS System and comes with same quality and engineering that of the online UPS, said a press release.

“We are strengthening our partners in terms of larger basket of products with different geographic and customer segments” said Sudhir S, managing director, Inspan Infotech.

“The launch of  Numeric 600VA EX Line Interactive UPS will be a good step in addressing the SME segment, which I feel are going the add significantly in to IT buying in coming 2-3 years,” he added.

The UPS, with its micro processor based design has features which will address the specific needs of the segment it is catering to.  It has cold start capability making the operation far simpler. Interfacing with PC is quite simpler since this supports all the major operation systems including the advanced SNMP/USB.

Keeping in mind the longer duration of power outages, some of the models of UPS offer extended battery runtime which will be over 2 hours.

It Features Printer Surge Protection and Line Surge protection of communication lines including telephone, modem, fax and ethernet, which would offer additional protection and integrated business continuity, said the release.

All the models have Full time EMI / RFI suppression, it added.
