RALEIGH, USA: Inlet Technologies, the leader in advanced encoding solutions for new media, announced today the availability of Armada 3.0, the culmination of its automated encoding workflow management platform.

Armada 3.0 completes the full workflow cycle by allowing for post-encoding functionality such as quality control, automated asset delivery, and multiple publishing options.

In addition, it includes built-in VOD support for Microsoft IIS7 Smooth Streaming, allowing organizations to produce reliable, high quality video streams for a much improved user experience.

According to the press release, the multi-format, multi-resolution Armada platform is ideal for organizations preparing large volumes of content (tens of hours or more per week). By automating the entire transcoding workflow, Armada saves valuable time and resources, allowing organizations to scale rapidly to increase their speed to market, and extend the market reach of their content.
