The cloud technology enables Inland to perform remote, over-the-air provisioning and configuration of SIM-based LTE and CDMA devices.

Inland Cellular, which provides national wireless service to subscribers in Eastern Washington and North Central Idaho, plans to launch its LTE network by year-end. With the Interop SIM OTA Management solution, the operator can perform SIM lifecycle management activities, such as new account activations, handset upgrades, SIM card swaps, and roaming list updates, without requiring subscribers to visit a retail location.

"Selecting Interop's SIM OTA solution helps us minimize the cost and complexity of managing our LTE device pool while improving customer satisfaction with automated handset provisioning and configuration," said Chip Damato, director of Business Strategies, Inland Cellular. "For many years, we have relied on Interop's cloud solutions for a number of our core services. We are happy to extend our relationship with this trusted cloud services provider as we move to LTE."
