Inkgard allows users to gain more page prints using any inkjet or laser printer.

With combined average cartridge costs of $601 or more, one Inkgard software license, at only $9.99 per year, can pay for itself over 8 times by the time the cartridges are only 50 per cent  used during the year, said a press release.

One ink or toner cartridge managed with Inkgard control software, can yield up to four times the amount of print output as an uncontrolled equivalent cartridge, while maintaining document output quality.

Before buying, users can calculate projected savings using a free Gains Calculator at Inkgard.com.

The software works with all popular inkjet and laser printers, including HP, Epson, Canon, Lexmark, Dell and others, added the release.

“We are pleased to offer this ecologically and financially friendly solution at a time when consumers and businesses are feeling the impact of the current economic climate. Decreasing the cost of printing long term will save jobs that might otherwise be lost,” said James M. Danforth, president of iProlog.

Thomas Villwock, founder and CEO, iProlog said, "Printing costs are significant expenses for businesses and for users at home. Inkgard is the first release  of solutions being introduced by iProlog to address the need for systematic planning, management and control of costs associated with printing.”

Some important features of this software include preset minimum gain settings, reporting on printing activity by document type, tracking of print volume, effective supplies costs monitoring, computation of actual dollar savings, and more.

“Inkgard’s low cost, useful features and unbeatable profit returns for users will have a strong appeal and lead to fast, overwhelming adoption worldwide," added  Villwock
