Speculation is rife that he may start his own consultancy business. Some other market reports say that he may be joining Prasad Mamidana, his former boss in Ingram, who is now involved in Neoteric's overseas operations.

Born on July 21, 1956, Rajguru-popularly known as SPR-has been with the IT industry for almost 21 years now. Prior to Ingram, he had a long stint with Unicorp Industries where he was instrumental in establishing Compaq PCs in India. When Unicorp went under, he along with his core team of about 25 people established Electronic Resources India Ltd, which later on was renamed Ingram Micro India Ltd.

When Ingram took over Tech Pacific, it was widely speculated that Rajguru, who was the COO of Ingram India at that time, would be person heading the merged entity in India. However, he had to remain content with the sales head position.
