MUMBAI: Blue Star Infotech (BSI), global provider of software solutions and IT

consultancy, has announced a partnership with Datastream, USA. Headquartered in

Santa Clara, USA, Datastream offers asset management functionality to deliver a

platform for optimizing enterprise asset performance.

BSI and Datastream together plan to address industry verticals like process
manufacturing, pharma and petrochemicals, oil & gas explorations, healthcare and

hospitality in India. BSI has already bagged an order from ING Vysya Bank,

Bangalore for the implementation of Datastream's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

Solution - 'MP2'.

BSI's experience in the enterprise solutions
space for the manufacturing industry should enable both partners to bring the

best-of-breed solutions in preventive and predictive asset maintenance systems

to quality conscious manufacturers. This will ensure production uptime and

consistent product quality, which in turns translates to improved customer

service and market share.

Commented BSI marketing VP Sudhir Gera, "Datastream is the world's leader in EAM
solutions, giving system infrastructural support to enable quality processes.

Partnering with Datastream will enable us to offer a wider portfolio of

enterprise management solutions to our customers".

Datastream Systems Pte Ltd business development director Anantharama
Balachandran said, "BSI is an ideal partner for us in the Indian market as they

can develop an interface between Navision's ERP suite and Datastream products.

Once developed, the interface can enable Datastream to bundle their products

with those of Navision. We see great opportunity in the Indian market with this

partnership."
