Infy, Wipro to invest hugely in Bangalore

MUMBAI, INDIA: Indian IT majors Infosys and Wipro are planning to invest hugely in Bangalore, the IT hub of India.

If what Karnataka Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani has told ET Now is something to go by, Infosys is planning to set up two new campuses in the city, while Wipro is considering to set up a brand new campus here.

However, the Minister said that the investment plans are in proposal stage.

Infosys is planning to invest almost Rs 2960 crores at two campuses, Wipro on the other hand is planning to pump in Rs 537 crores to set up a 40-acre campus, said an Economic Times report, citing ET Now.
