“The houses will be built in Gulbarga and Bagalkote districts. The government has asked to build the houses in different locations, while the residents want it to be built in the same location,” he said while interacting with media on the sidelines of the announcement of the IT giant's Q3 financial results here.

Pai also said that the company has suspended an employee accused of torturing his 15-year-old domestic help. He said Pallav Chakraborty was suspended by the firm on Friday. Following the incident of torturing, many organizations had demanded action against Pallav.

Action has been taken against another Infosys techie also, who allegedly made a hoax call to Delhi airport to delay flight. The hoax call, made in October, had created panic at the airport, delaying the take-off of a Bangalore-bound Go Air plane with 164 people on board.

"Krishnamurthy remains suspended as police inquiry is still on. We will not spare anyone if (his or her) behaviour is not in line with our code of conduct," Pai said.
