MUMBAI, INDIA: Infosys Technologies, India's No. 2 outsourcer, expects four business segments it entered in the past three years to each contribute at least $1 billion in revenue by 2013, the Mint newspaper reported on Friday.
Chief Operating Officer S.D. Shibulal told the paper the four segments - infrastructure management, independent testing and validation, business process management and system integration - each currently contribute $250 to $300 million a year.
"We are engaging (customers) with our new (business) models, (we have) two or three funnels for growth," the paper quoted Shibulal as saying.
Infosys, which competes with Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), expects dollar revenues for the full year to March 2010 to dip 1 to 1.3 per cent, while earnings per share are set to drop 6.7 to 7.1 per cent.
