Infrasoft ties up with Australian financial solutions firm

MUMBAI: Infrasoft has partnered with CCK Financial Solutions company -a two
decade- old company based in Australia. Infrasoft provides banking products and
e-commerce solutions to the financial institutions, insurance companies and
banks, while CCK is a major player in banking solutions in Australia.



Infrasoft managing director Hanuman Tripathi said that the tie up would bring
mutual benefit to both partners as Infrasoft would be able to use their banking
product called `Guava' boasting of treasury solutions along with their own
product- Omni Banking 2.0 to provide enterprise banking solutions.



The partnership would include marketing and support of the Australian company's
banking products in India as well as other countries and regions where CCK
doesn't have the presence. Infrasoft would work towards providing market and
support to the CCK's products in UK,US and APAC. "We will not just sell the
product but will be working with them to enhance it not only for the Indian
market but for these regions as well," he explained.



The present product, which is based on a centralized banking architecture, will
be clubbed along with the original product of Infra Soft and will be known by
its original name Omni Banking 2.0. This is expected to hit the market in
another three months.

As a part of their expansion plans Infrasoft is looking at serious
partnerships to form ODCs in UK, to serve the European market, Singapore to look
after the Asian market and Canada to gain access to the Northern American
markets. In order to develop activities here, the company is planning to invest
around Rs 25 crore - Rs 30 crore. "These places will act as a satellite
ODCs while the main ODC will be located in India'', elaborated Tripathi.



The company to aims at becoming a company of 400 professionals by the year
2003-2004.
