The Hyderabad-based firm recorded a net profit of Rs.118 crore, down from Rs.127 crore last fiscal, a top company official said on Wednesday.
The revenue grew by 24.6 per cent to Rs.1,188 crore. The company achieved a milestone in its history with the revenues for the first time crossing Rs.1,000 crore.
B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, chairman and managing director of Infotech, told reporters that the revenues in dollar terms were $260.7 million for the year, a growth of 29.7 per cent over last year.

The operating margin, however, has come down from 21.9 per cent last year to 15.2 per cent
The revenues for the fourth quarter, ending March 2011, were Rs.326 crore, a year-on-year growth of 33.5 per cent and quarter-on-quarter growth of 3.8.
The operating margin, however, stood at 14.3 per cent, down from 15.1 per cent during Q3, he said.
Mohan Reddy attributed the fall in operating margins to the company's investment in sales and business management, shift in business, salary hike and lateral recruitments.

"We have come to a peak in terms of investment and the margin will start coming back to the previous levels in coming four quarters," he said.
Infotech recruited 771 employees during the year while 300 more offers are in the pipeline. It presently has a headcount of 8,711 and plans to recruit 1,000 freshers, Reddy said.
He was confident that the margins in the first quarter of 2011-12 will not deteriorate and hoped that it would improve.
"Though we are not giving any guidance for the current year, Infotech has always outperformed the market. The Nasscom has forecast 18 to 20 per cent market growth during this year and we will be higher than that," Reddy said.
The board of directors has recommended 25 per cent dividend.
The revenues of the firm in aerospace engineering services crossed $100 million in a single year, making it the largest engineering services company in aerospace business in India.
