The decision to change the name was taken at a high-level meeting of founding members of the IT bellwether at the city campus held earlier.
As per PTI report, the meeting was attended by Chief Mentor and founder NR Narayana Murthy, Kris Gopalakrishnan, CEO and managing director among others.
Infosys Mysore campus has around 7,000 employees and also functions as a centre of excellence. The campus is spread over 337 acres and has been enhanced to educate 14,000 (GEC I - 4,500 and GEC II - 9,500) Infoscions.
