"For innovation in talent, we have to find out what attracts employees. We have created a home-like atmosphere on our campuses," he added.
Infosys BPO believes that delivering tomorrow's needs of customers is its earnest intention. The company said that each client was unique to them and personalization played a pivotal role in every project.
According to the company, HR, new operating models and innovation are its top priorities. Speaking to CIOL, Radhakrishnan said that innovation was important to build tomorrow's enterprises.
Infy to leverage social networks for recruitment
As a step towards workforce excellence, the company has launched "Infy-on-the-go" service, under which several applications are put together on mobile devices, informed Radhakrishnan.
Utilizing the service, supervisors and managers can get real-time alerts, updates and leave applications. It also offers information on travel, including budgeting and leave balance. "In addition, we also leverage social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for recruitment," said Radhakrishnan.
As a tech-savvy company, Infosys BPO reaffirms that technology is one of its value-added advantages.
With cloud capabilities, it is now working on new operating models with new service lines.
It has also undertaken some cloud-based pilots, though it has recently converted a few of them into commercial businesses. The BPO major is banking heavily on such new functionalities. "With this capability, our help desk will be able to serve multiple customers on cloud," Radhakrishnan said.
Employing virtualization that leverages thin client, the company informed that it is doing pilots across the globe. "We believe in delivering business value to customers with technological innovations," he concluded.
