BANGALORE, INDIA: Infosys made its second acquisition of the year. The company has acquired a San Francisco-based e-commerce services provider Kallidus also known as Skava, for $120 million.
Infosys posted on its website that, "The acquisition of Skava is part of Infosys' strategy to help clients bring new digital experiences to their customers through IP-led technology offerings, new automation tools and unparalleled skill and expertise in these new emerging areas."
In the beginning of the year, Vishal Sikka's had announced to make Infosys a $20-billion company by 2020. These acquisitions are expected to generate a bulk of the plan.
