Infospectrum acquires Control IT

BANGALORE: Infospectrum India Private Limited, has acquired Control IT (India) Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NorControl IT AS of Norway.

Norcontrol IT is deals in Marine Vessel Traffic Management Systems, while Control IT specializes in Maritime IT, Information Systems and AIS solutions.


Infospectrum India Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Infospectrum Inc., USA, a enterprise systems integration and software solutions company. Infospectrum India is an ISO 9001 certified development centre in Nagpur and caters to clients in the telecom, technology, US Aerospace and Defense sectors. Infospectrum achieved 100 percent growth in revenues last year and is on track to double its revenue in the current year, according to a press release.

Subsequent to this merger and subject to necessary approvals, NorControl IT will acquire equity stake in Infospectrum.
NorControl IT will market Infospectrum's services to its customers around the globe and it is expected that both companies will collaborate on a number of initiatives in the European Union and South Africa.
