BANGALORE, INDIA: Data integration solution maker Informatica Corporation opened a new 150,000 square foot research and development (R&D) facility in the city.
The new site will contribute to the design, development, release and maintenance of Informatica’s products and technology. The facility will be the biggest of Informatica’s development centres in ten countries across the world.
“The opening of the new facility is an exciting event for all of us at Informatica, and is aimed at not only leveraging the software development capabilities of Indian talent, but also addressing the demand for Informatica products in the Indian sub-continent and beyond,” said Sanjeev Kumar, managing director, Informatica, India. “India is a growing and critical market for Informatica and the expanded facility will help us provide customers with access to high-quality software-development resources no matter where they are located.”
The new facility will support a wide variety of functions including research and development, customer support, professional services, IT, sales and marketing, partner alliances and human resources.
