Infinite launches ESP group initiative

BANGALORE,INDIA: Infinite Computer Solutions (I) Ltd, an IT solutions and services provider, today announced that the company has launched an enterprise solutions group initiative for the textile and apparel industry in Sri Lanka last month.

It has launched a special “Safe Passage Program” for different apparel and textile companies that are using certain generic ERP solutions and have mixed results from them, as an incentive to switch over to the Datatex ERP platform, said a press release.

The program would help the existing companies shift from their generic solution to Datatex with minimal investment barrier.

It stated that Infinite generally deploys different global leading ERP modules for the financial accounting, budgeting and controlling functionality and creates seamless integration platform between Datatex and the generic ERP.

The enterprise solutions group (ESG) is the group within Infinite that is responsible for services built around the packaged solutions, typically the likes of SAP, Oracle and Datatex.

According to Guruprasad S Rao, head, ESG, Infinite Computer Solutions, “Infinite is launching its business transformation services for the apparel Industry, and we envisage that this Information Technology and Business Consulting initiative will add huge value to the Sri Lanka-based apparel industry to have better EBITDA margins from their business operations.”

He further added that since the apparel industry has huge amount of human manpower involved in its ambit, Infinite’s initiative is likely to have a major socio-economic impact in the country.
