As a prominent destination site for millions of webmasters, developers, and programmers seeking free and commercial web resources, the new Hot Scripts marks an exciting milestone in the site's history.

A new design and, more importantly, an entirely re-written technology platform, enable Hot Scripts to further fuel significant growth and richer functionality. Besides ongoing tweaks and enhancements, in the coming months Hot Scripts will roll out several new features.

All of these continuous efforts center on one single purpose, bringing the web development community the best free and commercial web scripts available plus (new for 2009) an array of Web resources including APIs, widgets, mashups and add-ons.

The planning and development process for the Hot Scripts re-launch was in the works throughout 2008. It included intensive research and beta testing conducted across the web development community.

Tremendous effort was invested into Hot Scripts' new and sophisticated technology platform, which will enable it to spawn new directory categories and sub-categories extending its already impressive list of more than 1,000 Web resource types. In addition, greater flexibility across the platform will support the rapid deployment of more powerful features for guests, members and advertisers.

"Hot Scripts is the recognized authority in the web development community and is by far the largest Web resource directory of its kind," stated Ahmad Permessur, the iNET Interactive product manager for Hot Scripts who has been working with the site for the past six years.

"The constant evolution of web technology requires Hot Scripts to keep pace with the changing needs of the web development community," continued Ahmad, "the new design, and more so, the completely new technology platform, positions Hot Scripts for significant expansion and richer functionality in the future."
