Indian Rupee slide affecting SMBs?

BANGALORE, INDIA: As the Indian Rupee continues to slide, the Small business sector in India is feeling the aftereffects. Since various small industries across the country are not equipped to tackle the current financial crisis, they might have to experience adverse effects, warn experts.

Since most of the SMBs in India are started by availing loans from various financial institutions, the Rupee slide is sure to hit them hard.

One effect of the Rupee slide could be the SMBs facing an adequate shortage of labor. This will only lead to reduced productivity. 

Financial experts state that the Government must take adequate measures in order to arrest the Rupee slide at least from the SMB point of view. Otherwise, the very survival of some of the SMBs will be threatened.
