Indialedger.com, a Web-based accounting package from Calcutta-based Matrix

Infosystems has adopted the ASP model for its accounting software apart from

incorporating trading inventory and data import facilities into the software.

Elaborating on the concept, Indialedger.com managing director Alok Agarwal

said, "This feature would enable users to track, analyze and report on the

transactions made, stock updates and sales modifications. This will make

accounting through Indialedger.com more efficient and comprehensive. The

facilities included are inventory, sales, purchase and SWOT analysis along with

a drop-down menu and zoom-in facilities. By virtue of incorporating data import,

we are enabling the user to import data from his existing accounting software to

his Indialedger.com account with ease."

These Web-based accounting facilities are available to the user for just Rs

400 per month. The company has also provided the user with an offline version.

This enables the user to work and update his account offline and connect to the

Internet merely to upload or download data.
