India warehouse of spams, says Symantec

BANGALORE, INDIA: Spammers are continuing to use hot topics – energy efficiency, blogs and even the Oscars to trick users. Other than popular spam tricks , the Symantec State of Spam Report for March 2009 reveals that India stands third in the list of countries in spam origination, contributing five percent to the total spam volumes worldwide.
